I saw Wreck-It Ralph a few weeks ago (I know, I'm late to the party as usual) but I fell in love with Vanellope Von Schweetz, she's such a brave and courageous girl with a whole lot of spunk! So when I saw her character, I automatically knew I had to create a DIY costume look for her! I really hope you guys enjoy this video, and if you recreate her look please send a picture! :)

------EXTRA INFO------
My mom made the skirt with 1/2 a yard of brown fabric from JoAnns and for the stripes on the leggings we cut up a white t-shirt and wrapped them around my leg and for the purple little strip we glued purple ribbon onto the stripes. (Like i mentioned in the video I wasn't happy with how the leggings turned out so if you do this I definitely recommend using fabric glue. I'm wearing this costume again for a party and I think I will redo the leggings and paint the stripes on instead. If I do, I will be sure to share a picture on instagram)
