What I Ate Today | #FitWithJack

Hi my little flowers! Today I'm going to show you "What I Ate Today" I've never done a video like this before so let me know what you think. I worked really really hard on it, so I hope you enjoy. As some of you know, I've been vegetarian for over a year now but I've been a very unhealthy vegetarian by eating lots of carbs, starch and processed foods. I'm on a journey to eating healthier, so I hope this video inspires those of you who are also trying to cut out the bad junk. I'm not the healthiest but I'm a lot better than where I used to be... If you're reading this leave a comment saying "Animals are friends, not food" even if you don't agree with this saying haha. Let's just confuse everyone :)

One thing I want to share with people is that eating healthier is a lifestyle not a diet.
I'm on a journey to changing my eating habits and I've gotten a lot better, but that does not mean that I'm the healthiest person out there and that also doesn't mean I deprive myself of the foods that I want. Sometimes people have the wrong impression of what eating healthy is like. People will criticizes every little thing you eat, even if it is healthy they will still find a way to shut it down, you know what I mean? I can't stand that because it makes people (especially young girls) feel like everything they eat is bad, therefore it encourages them to eat less and eventually get to the point of eating nothing but air. I don't know that's just how I feel and I wish people would understand that incorporating more fruits and veggies into your diet is already a great step to changing your lifestyle.
You can still eat carbs, fats, and sugar.... we're human... but just make sure you're eating more things that will benefit your body. I hope that makes sense... Nonetheless I hope you enjoy the video :)

  1. Hi Jackie
I just rediscovered your blog and I'm happy I did! You are so right it's all about the lifestyle not a diet. I also think that filming at your parents home was a fabulous idea, the wooden counter looks so nice. Can you tell I love your vlogs? I also recently started my own blog and I would love if you could look at it, if you had spare moment!
